Eva Romancovová has been focusing on the area of internal security since 2007. She specializes in a number of topics, i.e. inspection of security forces, a system of specialization on proceeds from crime, reduction of administration at basic units of the police, etc.

She is regularly entrusted with projects of an interdepartmental nature. She stood at the beginnings of the so-called Tax Cobra, she is a co-author of the Act on the Police of the Czech Republic and Act on the General Inspectorate of Security Forces. At the end of 2015, she became the main coordinator of a year-long work on the National Security Audit and its follow-up Action Plan. She was the leader of a team elaborating the chapter on the Influence of Foreign Powers. At the beginning of this year, she was tasked with the coordination of the establishment of the Centre against Terrorism and Hybrid Threats.
